It is comprised of several layers of thin plywood. You can't really see how much give there is when you watch it on tv, but you can when you are at the event.

yea i know, ive been to live events and been ring side at independent wrestling events. yea im a bit of a wrestling fan lol. not like i use to be be tho. but ive felt the ring before and moved around in one before. ive never been slammed tho lol. but i have no douts that being slammed does hurt. or the top rope misses and what not.

If you pay attention, you can see them prepare to be slammed or jump into the hip tosses, don't get me wrong, I love a good slobber knocker. Those guys really enjoy the stuff, and really get hurt when they mess up. I still watch crom time to time, but miss the old school guys. Handsome Jimmy Valient, Bill Dundee, The Iron Shiek, those guys.

I did say 'old school' youngster...lol. My favorite was hacksaw jim duggon he walked around with a 2x4 chunk of wood. And I can't forget the Randy Savage, ohhh yeah!!!, he lived in Lexington from time to time.

gota love randy savage lol..... i have a good bit of wrestling knowledge just those are not to familiar. IMO hacksaw to as popular as he was, was not utilized at all. Much like my vote for most "underrated" star to date is gota be Curt Henning/Mr Perfect. I cant believe he never carried the wwf/e championship.

Im a wrestling fan, i know its technically not real. I liked/watched the WWF alot. WWE im not so fond of because its to predictable but i catch it when i can....

But you grow up, realize it's fake, and don't enjoy it anymore.
