You wanna know what happens to a Rockford Punch Z when you feed it over 700 rms? Ill tell ya, my friend has a pair and is wanting to get some pioneers so he turned all the bass boosts up on his amp and h/u and turned the volume all the way up and the poly cone on the sub just split right down the middle. how do you blow a kicker? lol. i know you can, but dang those are tough woofers. the double stitched cone says it all . . .

kicker gets my vote. i can't stand rockford's woofers. kicker gives a lot better boom, and you can get good SQ out of them if you install them right.

I don't really like either of em. The power hx2 does look badass though.

both are over rated in my opinion....but if i had to choose one....i'd say kicker......well the old kickers......but thats jus me.....

kicker wins.... sorry gotta say no to rf..

kicker has some good subs, you've got to admit that, i just wish that they'd use a different magnent for the L5 & L7...... it'd make me appreciate the L7 more than i do, b/c i can't see myself spending that big amount of difference in price for a sub w/the same **** magnent..... i'd be better if they had L7 to be a double stacked mag or something, shoot....

rf i feel just aint holding it down anymore.... rfl's are good for shows..

hx2's are good for beat but that's it, no other line rf makes is good TO ME ..

Well like I said earlier in this thread, im not a fan of RF either. I dont know why I dont like them but I dont. Everyone I hear raves about RF and from what ive heard of their prducts and looked at the reviews I dont like what I see or hear.

kinda the same way...... but i just don't like the way they sound... its kinda hard to explain..

i'm like that w/mtx too kinda....... but i'll recommend the 8000s sometimes.......

Kicker isn't so outrageously over priced like Rockford is. You get more of what you pay for with Kicker.

i wonder why kicker comp vr is tripled stitched and the l7/l5 isn't

well if u like sq then theres no way ur gonna like a fosgate setup..

coming from a jl audio fan...

lol.. chouldnt keep my mouth shut on that one..
