I currently have one of these amps running a phoenix gold Ti Elite. I am going to buy a new Audioque HDC315 when available, but not sure whether to get dual 2 or dual 1 coild. I was wondering if this amp is stable to drop to .5ohm or if it will go into protect.

or just ask and find out if its possible... with impedance rise it will bring it back closer to 1 ohm with a dual 1...

True but still. I personnaly wouldn't risk it. I hope u at least have the electrical to keep it at at least 14Vs

i have done the big 3 and have a Kinetik hc2400 in the trunk, but still using the stock alt which is 120amp. not sure what the voltage does though.
