Alright im new to car audio, so whats up,

anywyas i have one M.A Audio kore 15 sub, 10 000 watts peak, 5000 rms, its 15'' 1.5 ohms quad coil

and i wnat to know if my amp will be enough to power it at a decent level i know i wont be able to do its full capacity but im new to car audio and this is my first system so i dont care, the amp hifonics and is 1000 rms........... basically will this be enough power to power the sub for a decent quality and level of loudness :S...........and i wont short circuit the amp will i

and ah i dont know shit about car audio, so how many gauge wiring kit do i wnat, i wwas told 1 gauge.

4 gauge will be fine with that amp...but cheaper 1/0 ga is usuALLY NOT MUCH BIGGER THAN 4 GAUGE...yOU AMP WILL WORK FINE WITH THAT SUB...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Sorry I hit the cap button by mistake //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Ya you would probably need to do 0/1 gauge wire.. unfortunatly i find it for that amp to work on that sub. the amp does 1000 RMS and the sub does 5000 i dont think it will do that job.
