RF T1's vs w3 vs l7

Ok so I just bought 2 12" RF t1's I'm just hoping I made a good choice over the w3 and l7 they were all the same price, also wanted to know if my amp and box was big enough

2 12" RF T1's

Amp: Alpine 1005D

Box 16"high 20" deep 41"wide

how much did you pay? and that box is roughly 4.3 cubes depending on the port config and what not so it sounds about right for two T1s.

are the T1's D4 or D2? If they're D4 you can't wire it to a 2 ohm load and that amp can't handle 1 ohm. Otherwise it should be fine for you.

There 4ohm wired at 2ohm should I invest in another amp if so what kind? I just want some major bump

If you have 2 Dual 4 ohm subs then you can't wire both down to 2 ohm, so yes, either get a matching amp or one that does 1k @ 1 ohm. I vote just get one amp that does 1k @ 1ohm because you don't have to mess with gain matching and what not. I don't know what you consider "major bump" but you should be around 140 with this.

T1's would be my favorite, but L7's can get louder, they just require huge boxes and lots of power that you most likely don't have the electrical to support.

^once again... this....

l7's can definately get louder... under the right conditions... but then again... thats under the right conditions. you get the set up wrong, and you'll be dissapointed.

T1's on the other hand, dont require AS much specific parameters (box size, power) to get nice and loud

What kind of car is this going in? What's your electrical set up? Can I get actual box specs? then I can give you a more accurate estimate of what to expect

2000 suburban all I know about the box is what's posted above and the electrical is 120a alt and upgrading battery
