2000 suburban all I know about the box is what's posted above and the electrical is 120a alt and upgrading battery

I'd recommend doing the big 3 then and upgrade your battery to the nicest you can. If you give me budget on the battery, and amp I can find you some nice stuff.

Do you already have a wiring kit? If not here's a great one for you 4 Gauge Amplifier Installation Kit I ran 1.5k on it and didn't have much cable drop at all.

If money isn't an issue then your electrical should be the first thing you take care of. So as far as a new starting battery I'd get this;

SSA Store - XS Power D3400 AGM Battery

with these to adapt it to side posts. You can use the wing nuts/posts for your aftermarket wiring and it eliminates the need for side post extenders and you can leave the factory wiring in place.

XS POWER 553 i-Bar Marine Side and Top Terminal Adapter with 5/16

For your big 3 wiring and such I'd just buy Kolossus 1/0 from Knu Konceptz (the place I linked you to).

As far as an amp I'd do an AQ1200, it's not the most expensive but is just as good as others you'll find. Expensive doesn't always mean better.

I've heard T2's and they were okay. I just don't think I liked em because the box was tuned to 47hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

He should loved the T1's on this nice little set up though.

T1's are a nice sub... depending on the price... if you buy them at msrp from best buy... HELL no! but with the price he got on them, he should be happy
