RF Punch Stage 2

What does everyone think about Rockford Fosgate Punch Stage 2 12's, are they worth getting? I'm not whether to go for Stage2 or 3, and which RF amp would be a good match for a pair of 12's? Any advice is welcome.

i jus got a chance to listen to them. i think there overpriced.(p2's) and overrated.the ones i heard sounded like a big pile of shit. how much were you lookin to spend on the subs and amp and maybe we can help you out.

I could keep my old amp, but I would spend around 500 on a pair of speakers. I'm not from them, but they sound familiar.

I heard some p2 10's in a shitty setup tonight... poorly made boxes under the backseat of an extended cab truck. The guy said he was runnin either 1000 watts to each sub, or 1000 watts to both (500 per). Whatever. They sounded alright considering the install. I didn't get a real good listen though, so I'm not completely sure how good they can sound.

But if you have $500 for 2 subs, you can do much better.

Yes, how much power do you have? The P3 or Alpine Type R come to mind. That RF P2 is a great sub, you can find them cheap too. Just look around....but you need more in 411

the p2 setup i heard was was 2 12"s in 1.5 cub each sounded like a loud of crap. you can find much beter for 500. p3's on ther other hand i havent heard a setup i didnt like great sq but not loud enough for ym taste
