Okay so I've got an old school Fosgate 801S. Stats are:

200 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms

400 watts RMS x 2 at 2 ohms

800 watts RMS x 1 bridged output at 4 ohms

Also.. I'm not extremely experienced - would running the amp brdiged at 4Ohms cause any kind of downfalls at all or no?

I want to use this sub to run bridged to power a Pioneer Premier 3002SPL.. good combination and will that work?

no downfalls to running the amp bridged at 4 ohms, its made for it and will take it all day. that amp should make a 3002spl sound nicely, just make sure u get the dual 2 ohm model so u can wire it up to get the 4 ohms, ive got a rockford 501s that dont like anything below 4 ohms to it or it'll start cuttin off

do u use a bass knob, cause i hooked up my 501s and it doesn't even hardly push the subs

yep sure do...... it makes a big difference, ive had the amp hooked to 2 alpines, 3 jl audio's and now its hooked to three bazooka water cooled subs and it beat all of em really good,
