rockford underrates their amps from what i have seen and owned, so i wouldnt doubt it.

Power handling and "power needed to reach full potential" is determined by box size and box style. In a ported box, you won't need to send the subs their full RMS power rating to reach full xmax. Same with larger sealed boxes. In a small sealed box, you could probably get away with sending them closer to their rated RMS.

I have an oldRF 250a2 that does close to 375 watts, they under rate historically, I am not so sure about the last line but the new line is showing serious promise

I run a 500bd. I believe my birthsheet rated mine at just under 700 watts RMS. 694 if i remember correctly.
