RF 12" Punch Stage 3 vs. Kicker 15" CompVR

I've started doing some major body work on my truck so I dont have enough money to go with the original setup I want so Im kinda downgrading //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif .

Both these subs are rated for 500w rms. The RF is a 12" and the kickers 15".

Rockford's Frequency Response: 20-200 Hz

Kicker Frequency Response: 25-500 Hz

I'm looking for maximum bass! So what which one do you guys recommend?

Dual post? Well, the kicker will have a little more cone area and better frequency response... Id go with the kicker 15", plus, i think alot of rockford stuff is overrated.

Price range: Well, around $150 per sub. I trying to get max. bass for minimum $$$.

Available space: I got about 11 ft^3 of space in the cab. Kicker says ported volume should be around 3-5 ft^3 per chamber for the comps and RF says stage 3s need 1.30 ft^3 per chamber.

Do you already have an amp: Yes, but not for these subs, so guess No. But the amps I'm looking at for these are (2) 1000w kenwoods.

i had one CVR 15 and my buddy had one rockford P3 12. both sealed in mid sized recommended boxes with very similar power (about 500 rms).

my sub seriously handed the fosgate its a.ss ... theres no other way to put it. i even put the fosgate in my car to see if it was just cause of the car difference. nope. fosgate sucked. my sub pwned it in every way. WAY WAY better spl, way better low end, only thing he had over me was a little tighter sound. but this will havppen when you compare a lower end 15 with a lower end 12. the 12 usually sounds crisper. but i definetely wasnt complaining about sq.
