You can spend money diddling around with bandaids or just save up for what you need. Believe me, I'm in the same boat but thankfully the wife is going to let me use some of the tax money, lol.

im 17 saving for college. entirely different body of water all together lol. plus dad has the title so idk what he'd think bout putting in a different alt. I'm going to get around 160 for my tax return and thats going towards a new box.

Might be time to rethink things then. Perhaps go small or do without a sub for a while.

yeah there are some tricks around it. putting in some diodes or messing with an eld bypass. both do practically the same thing. ill check to see what I'm dropping to. if its not bad imma leave it and just get a bigger and better box.

More batteries would work too. Try looking for Blemished batteries at a supply house. For example, I can buy blem group 31's all day for $76

batts won't do anything if my alt can't keep this one charged. 2 batts would just be harder on it. 2 really only helps when u have a h/o alt. in some situations in can help but with most it won't. IMPO
