Components will be louder and have better SQ b/c you will more than likely have them on an amp (more power) and you can place your tweeter where its best staged and also you have a crossover that you can play with to your expectations. Hope that helped. If you deciding which one, def. go with the components. I get mine next week and ill tell ya what there like!
