I am going to have around 470 after Christmas, more than I expected. I was going to get two eD13kv.2's, but now I am thinking about RE. My enclosure will be sealed with whatever space is required. I dont know what car it will be in yet. And probably around 1000 watts cause I dont want to have to buy a new alt and all that. I really am into sq because i listen to rock not just rap. Thats why it will be sealed. Gettin loud of course wouldnt be bad. XXX or SX.

well first thing SX dosent like sealed but 2 SEs would i think. what kind of amp do you have? vehicle? XXX would sound real good.

I dont have a vehicle or a amp yet, lol, all i have is a headunit. Nothing like buying your system before your car.

600-800 watts on a 12" brahma sealed, would I even hear bass, or would my components drown them out?

no a brahma would like 800 watts. and a ported box if built right and tuned low can sound good too. a good amp for pretty cheap is a viper 1200.1 for 250. its refurbished, but it works perfect. i have one and it has real good power. you can pretty much ask anyone on here its a good amp. also an orion 1200d which is the same amp just different name on it. or directed 1100d. all owned by dei. An SX would still have good sq. its not pure spl like MT. it has pretty good sq. it wont be as good as XXX but it will get way louder than SE. but i dont think the SXs like sealed boxes.

SX would be louder than a XXX on 1000 watts. brahma would do better on 1kw than the xxx. SX would get loud, but not have as good SQ as the brahma.
