Does anyone know where to get the best deal on RE subs? I bought one from a dealer near detroit a few years ago. I do not remember his name. Is anyone familiar with him or anywhere to get a SE series sub. I was quoted $250 for 12" from a dealer. Any help would be great. I finally blew my first RE after 4 yrs!! I am currently running a Alpine MRD-M301 Amp for the sub. the specs are at the this link. http://www4.dealtime.com/xPF-Alpine-Alpine-MRD-M301-150W-x-1-Car-Amp-Mono-Subwoofer-Amps is the SE resies the right sub to step up to? Will my amp power it correctly? Any help would be great. Thanks

only way to get them now is through a dealer or the classifieds here. You can probably just get a FI SSD, that's probably the best way to go for something similar to an RE SE

you can get them alot cheaper on ebay.

i've heard a SSD and i would consider it absolutely nothing like a SE...

and yeah, only way to buy them new these days is through a local dealer or ebay...

if it's blown you could always get a recone. RE sells them (call the number or ask a dealer) or a cheaper way would be to go through FI at ficaraudio.com

yahhh i got both mine on ebay. wayyy cheaper than anywhere else really. got mine from dimensionaudio. (kinda scared me this second time it was double boxed with a 15" se box on outside... i was scared thought they sent me wrong one, but taht goes to show you they have good packaging //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif\

btw i bought mine at diff times and they were like 160 each shipped.

ya the SE and XXX are there more SQ drivers.

I would compare the RE SE to the FI Q. but with a good bit more handling
