sorry. i ment to put independence (ohm) rise or w/e its called.

with a clamp meter and volt meter. you measure the ac voltage going to your speakers and use a clamp meter to find the current. then divide voltage by current.

Truth. If you hook up an ohm meter, it'll be all over the place.

Z(impedance) = Volts AC / Current AC

from on the speaker outputs

im soo lost...so even tho when i use a dmm and my final load reads 1ohm when im playing music it will possibly be up to 2ohms that my amp is seeing? is this right? and if it is could i wire my amp to a .5ohm load (final load shown by a DMM) since when playing music my amp will see around 1 ohm?

cant remember but it works and is just as accurate as the fluke meter i have at work.

theres alot of factors that influence it. i have my sub wired down to .5ohms and it rises to about 1.5ohms. thats why to get the most out of your amp, setting with a dmm doesnt always work. however, if you find out your rise then you can set with the dmm alittle closer to what it is actually seeing
