True, Gonzales was just trying hard to cover it up and when he was questioned about it, well he might as well have pleeded the 5th. Im guessing he was just used as a fall guy, but thats going beyond the scope of what I know.

you're probably right. i just find it unreal that people will jump all over it simply because the media put it on tv. clinton fired all 32 US attornies and not a single mention of it. i don't really like bush or his administration either, but i can see bull when i see it. the repubes are bad, but their better than those other morons.

This administration is the most corrupt since Nixon and probably second only to Nixon all time. It is absolutely amazing how many illegal and unconstitutional acts they get away with yet Clinton gets a hummer at his desk and lies about it and he gets impeached, its a sad state of affairs.

you need to investigate things a little. bush's administration is far from the most corrupt in history. clinton's was worse than bush without the hummer. clinton didn't get impeached BTW. no president has ever been impeached. nixon resigned before the impeachment came down.

Clinton fired all the AG's at the start of his term, as all Presidents do.

He didnt selectively fire them in the middle of a term like Bush did.

That was his right (Bush's too), but Clinton didnt fire AG's in the middle of investigations into his own party's corruption like Bush and Gonzales did.

The Ca. AG that busted GOP Congressman Randy Cunningham for bribes by defense contractors was near to filing charges against those same defense contractors when she was dissmissed for "poor job performance", and to this day 2 years later no charges have been filed by her replacement.

The fact that those same defense contractors happen to be big GOP supporters has nothing to do with either her firing or the lack of charges since then.

both parties take bribes or "contributions" all the time. i'm just confused as to why it's a completely one sided attack. i'm not questioning the fact that bush's administration is corrupt, but people act like it's just the repubes. both parties are just as bad as the other in different ways, but the pubes take all the criticizm. it clouds the bigger issues.

i'll concede that i guess. the case was delayed until he left office though. technically, i am wrong. the term "impeachment" leads one to believe he was forced from office, which has never happened. goddamn legalities
