re's or ID's small enclosure

could turn the power down a little and run an idq in those boxes.....they sound outstanding in little sealed enclosures:D

this box is about .5cf after sub disp. and went in an s10. sounded great!

Is the box .85 ft^3 total for the pair of subs, or is it .85 ft^3 each? Nevermind, I just looked and it's .85 ft^3 per woofer. I'm assuming that the 500 watts is to the pair of drivers since it's at 2 Ohms and you're looking at two dual 2 Ohm subs.

If you're looking for good sounding woofers primarily I would lean towards the IDQ's.

if your lookin for a small enclosure i'd go the IDQ they work well in small boxes. a 12 can fit in a 1 cubic foot box sealed and sound awesome. the ID take a lil larger box but still sound good. they get a lil louder then the Q but the Q have better sound quality. i'd recommend the IDQ line myself. how much depth do you have to work with? that's something else you have to take into consideration.

Just enough to fit that Q. i have 2 re sr10s in .7 ported + .5lb polyfill 2x3"x18" port tuned low im guessing ~30hz. It sounds really good at the lower freq's but doesnt blend the higher bass freqs well. i tired them in .50 sealed, .70 sealed and .70 seald with polyfill and finally now ported and they sound by far the best ported and get pretty loud now. but im thinking im gonna build a custom dual 12" 1ft each side and try some idq12's i hope they get as loud as these 10s and sound even better.
