lol yeah I hope he does too. The reason the Republicans swept these recent elections is the American people DO NOT WANT obamacare. So yes, have him defend it so that he gets voted out in 2012 also. Good thought there genius. TERMLEEZY!!!!

the repeal will die in the Senate. I think this is the Republicans just showing their colors as not being politically friendly. I guarantee there was some backroom talks by the republicans shmoozing Obama over to approve the tax cuts (that IMO should NOT have been approved).

I am not saying he should go hard for the healthcare reform, i'm saying he should go hard shooting down all their legislation in the future. I'm fine with a political freeze for 2 years

agreed, but i am fine with nowhere if it means we don't go far right. I'm not even opposed to Republican politics, but their tactics i find just despicable. I question their morality more than anything. not saying Dems are choirboys, but looking at the downright ugly maneuvers the Republicans continue to use for the last 11 years i just cannot respect the party.

No I don't think so. The Republicans know why they were elected and came out and did their job. obama knew too and wants to get re-elected. That's why he did what he knew was best for the American people and RENEWED the tax cuts that were already on the books.

Strange that you don't say the same about the left. I find their lying and trickery dispicable. Not sure what exactly you are referring to that the Republicans did. I'm going to guess that you don't have much to back it up. Again, not saying they are perfect but I just found most of the loony left have only heard their info from other lefties and are not based anywhere near facts.

Sad ....but that's politics.....people lie.....every President known to date has....promise all these plans for change and nothing happens....reason we still have soldiers overseas right now that were supposed to be pulled long ago...."supposed" ...not too thrilled with the O-man....he's still not as bad as Bush though..........

I just got done with Bush's book. Some of his decisions were hard to believe so I looked them up. I verified a lot of it and now I don't think he was so bad. Turns out the news lied A LOT about Bush.

I would be upset with Obama if he wasn't facing enormous opposition for everything he does, but the Republicans just want to burn him for each decision good or bad in public. Where was all this chastisement when Bush ran up the deficit and created an imaginary war? Obama inherited a crapstorm. He hasn't made it much better, but i'm not surprised given the strong republican effort to keep all his efforts muted and/or hated

The Democrats do their fair share of lying, playing political games, and using under handed tactics. You seem to imply the Republicans are the only guilty party here. If you think half of D.C. is immoral, then you are only half right.

The dems are plenty screwed up. They are the party that put into practice alot of screwed up legislation historically from the Jim Crow laws to Clinton's ultra-social policies. BUT i look at when the country has done its worst over the last 40 years, and Republicans can definitely accept that. They have dominated the political arena for a long time (save for Clinton's 8 years) and look at how bad this country has become.
