Republicans are voting AGAINST tax cuts for the bottom 98% of americans, right now

They just voted no in unison against extending the tax cuts for 98% of Americans. That is stopping something. You can't define it any other way. If I say no to something, I'm stopping it. Period.

So in other words, it's the democrats' way or the highway? Nope. They only get a yea or nay vote. They vote nay, and then reinstate the current Bush tax cuts on the books. That is not saying no to tax cuts. That's saying a resounding yes! Lol you fail... hard.

I know they don't. They care about about the richest 2% of people than the bottom 98% of people. They're more worried about the person making $500k a year seeing a tax increase than the person making $40k a year and seeing a tax increase. The vote today proves this. It is objective fact.

The riches 2% are the ones who pay the rest of the economy's wages. To care about any of the rest of us, you have to care about them. You hurt them and you hurt us. It's been proven time and time again. You cannot care about the leaves but hate the tree. The vote today proves that democrats will do anything to win the next re-election and do no care about the American people because they are willing to let them lose their tax cuts in order to cheap shot the Republicans.

If America needs these tax cuts, prove that the slashing of the top tax rates has had a positive result for everyone in this country. (ie, not just the top 2%)

You didn't have a problem w/ democrats forcing laws the past 2 years, but now you're bitching about the republicans returning the favor. Lol don't get mad at him wonka. He does this a lot. He can only repeat talking points but never uses logic. Once you disprove him with logic he will start personally attacking you.

The more the democrats do, the more the American people do not want them in office, so this is not a bad thing. They are slitting their own throats.

They ran up this massive deficit with bailout after bailout, stimulus, etc. Now the American people are worried about it so to "reduce the deficit" they are trying a smoke and mirrors tactic to cover their rear-ends. The common sense way to reduce the deficit is to undo all of the spending they have done, and allow the American people to keep a little more of the money they earn so that they spend more and you end up collecting more in taxes. It's been tried and proven.

It just amazes me at how many people do not know what is going on until it actually affects them. It is all a domino effect that will prove deadly to us. Republicans have a lot of **** to clean up and it isn't going to be easy.

So how about that unemployment extention bill? That worked out peachy didn't it.

Now all those people will be in homeless shelters in 6 months, with pitchforks and torches in the streets. Its already happening here in Louisville, there are fights breaking out in the unemployment office daily.

52 weeks does not equal 99. Also, if someone needs/wants work badly enough, they will sacrifice their pride and take a job that is below the pay scale and notoriety they are used to. If pride comes before hunger, then that person can starve with pride. Nobody owes me a **** thing. If I find myself out of a job, I'll figure out how to put food on the table.

the company my brother works @ went belly up, closing Dec 19th......he said 99% of the people there he's talked w/ have no interest in finding a job. They're gonna "take 99 & hit the fishing hole" or "sign up & go on vacation" ......what a joke.
