Replacing Mosfets

Hey, just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction.

I am in the process of installing new MEHSA strips on my 1501BD, the old ones were covered in a grease or paste on the mating surface between them, and the heatsink. The new ones have nothing on them, and I since got the case sand blasted so I could paint it, so now there is no grease. What should I be using in this location? I have die-electric grease, but I don't think that is what I need, or even suitable for this application. Please give me some ideas,

Thanks

Any thermal paste will work. I use Dow Corning 340 Silicone heatsink compound. Any stuff for mounting heatsinks to CPU's from computer store will work too. You don't need to much, just a thin layer.

Edit: please check PWM/outputs drivers and use a current limiter (like automotive headlight bulb) when turning amp after repair or you will be risking to fry all new FET's.

Okay, well I got the new mosfet strips installed, and tested it and without even turning the amp on, more mosfets fried. So, I guess that settles whether or not the artic 5 would have worked. it never had a chance to.

thanks though.
