replacing 2 12w3v2s

Right now I got 2 of these in a ported box. They are run by a Phoenix Gold Xenon X600.1 rated at 842 watts RMS. The output isnt bad, but it doesnt get that deep bass that I want from my subs. I'm looking for 2 10s or 2 12s that will have similar output, but I can sacrifice some as I wanna run sealed this time. Looking for something with good overall SQ while still having the ability to rumble in my trunk. I'm going to stick to the same amp hopefully. I drive a 1998 Passat V6, price range probably about 350-400.

i see. i was also looking at 2 id12 v.3s. anyone know how loud these will get in a ported box in comparison to w3's? i already know the sq will be there.

Either sub mentioned will be better for your needs. I do know for a fact that the rsds will kill the w3v2's in every aspect, and be on par wit the idqs on sq. You cant go wrong with either

Two Rl-ps in a box tuned around 28hz.

rl-ps ftw. they will sound just as good(probaly better) and will have the output your looking for

word.. the rl-p sounds nice. but will i be able to run two of them with just ~840 watts? im between those and the id12 v.3's right now, but i know the rl-ps are better. big price difference for 2 12s though, 460 for rl-ps and 180 for id v.3s

okay due to pricing i've narrowed it down to either two idq 12s or two id v.3s. What I'm looking for is a good amount of output so I'm guessing I should go with the id v.3s. but I also heard the idqs have decent output also. any input for either sub would be appreciated. also, how will both sets handle 840 watts?

i want to step away from JL as i want better sound and not enough money for a w6. well the rsd and idq (both 2 12's) seems to be what its down to now.. id12v.3 out of the picture. i'm just not sure what im looking for. i guess a daily driver, with good, loud bass. not l7 or mtx trunk rattling bass, but deep and loud while retaining good sq. loud as w3, but deeper i guess. it might also help that i mostly listen to rap music.

840 would be enough for 2 RL-ps. I run one off of ~450 and it gets it moving.

If you listen to mostly Rap music then go with the ID v3's. They are better for low end in comparasion to the IDQ which work better for rock
