Removing white residue from ca glue?

Well needless to say this ca glue I used turned white without activator used, and left residue even where there was no glue. How can i remove the white, I remember someone sayin somethin b4?

You can try with some acetone. I forget what it is, but I would say it's worth a shot. Just be careful of what's around the applied area.

Edit, google is your friend. Look for "Super glue white stuff removal" or something like that.

Edit2: CA is Cyanoacrylate, right? AKA Superglue.

Plede Revitalizing wood oil has worked great for me. Does not affect the suround in any way. Removed every bit of activator residue while giving the sub a "clean" look.

Go to Hobby Lobby, in the model cars department where all the paint is, There is a product called CA De-bonder. It should be in a frosted-clear bottle with a black sticker on it with white text. They also sell CA glue too, thin, medium, thick. The activator is sold separate in a spray bottle.

it is the fumes from the ca that causes the white. some ppl on here swear that it is the activator that causes it but no.
