Removing my isolator Q

Now i'm tired of this stupid stinger isolator. I don't know if its the vibration or whatever but i need to solder some wire in it every month.

I'm thinking about just removing it... but i don't want to kill my alty/rear batt life span. Is it really bad if my front batt rest at 12.4v and the rear rest at 12.8 and they aren't isolate once the system is shut?

Obviously, the rear batt won't rest over 12.4 now... how damaging is it for its life span? Also the alty will have to refill the rear one each time i start the car? enough to make its life shorter?

i know alot of you aren't even using iso at all. I don't really want to spend money on another unde the hood bat.

Get a Hellroaring...supposed to be **** good. If and when I add a second battery under my hood, yes, I will do an isolator and yes, I'll use a Hellroaring.
doesn't look like a selenoid isolator... you will get a drop between the front/rear batt

any more input?

i know i won't have trouble with that... just wondering if i should really invest into another batt that will rest higher...

I haven't actually used one but I spoke with the Hellroaring rep quite extensively and they seem to know their shit. If I was to get a second battery I just seem to think it would make sense to isolate my amps and HU on one battery and then leave the remaining OEM vehicle electrical (including starter) on the other. I'm not one of the crazy folk who is going to be running 30,000W RMS into 20 18" subs with 10 batteries in the trunk. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
