Removing glue from cone

I bought some subs and unfortunately whoever did the dust cap install has glue dripping all down on to the cone.

Apparently it was done while still mounted in the wall.

Regardless, anyone have an idea on how to clean it off without hurting the cone?

not what u wanta hear but id leave it.. u can try fingernail polish or something but that may hurt more than help

whether I can make it look better could potentially make or break a trade though lol

what sub is it? i was think u could us paint thinner on a qtip but if it's a paper cone that ain't good and it my just smear glue ever where so i'd leave it..

For once I'd agree with gramps. If looks are as important tho, perhaps scrape it off gently once it dries.

I plan on just leaving it.

It's a b2 xc 18

It doesn't have a paper cone, it's some sort of reinforced cone. But again, I'll just leave it. If it doesn't get traded off I'll run the pair until they need reconed and then sell/trade.

Don't have room for a wall behind the bpillar and in my truck it'd be horrible to move the seats any further forward and would bump me up in class. So it's either do a blowthrough (puts me in a lower class but requires me to cut up my truck and run a cover) or try to build behind the bpillar with smaller drivers. Meh.
