Removing/desoldering tweeter from 3-way speaker

Hi all,

My first post! I wanted to run my idea past anyone who is an expert in audio electrics.

I have some Pioneer a series 3-ways in my front doors and I wanted to install dedicated tweeters closer to my head level.

Does anyone know if it's possible to cut the cables, or desolder just the tweeter in the 3-way, and if so do I need to add a 4ohm resister to it if I did?
