I got a call today for a deal I cannot pass up to trade my car in. I had my amplifier installed at a car audio place and installed a capacitor and sub myself. I know some stuff about car audio but not a whole lot.

My question is how would I, if its even possible, for me to remove all the wiring? If I have to mess with the head unit at all then I'm not going to do it cause that is too advanced for me.

What steps should I take to remove just the amp safely?

pull fuse on amp under hood (on power wire close to battery) after that u can remove amps, unhook ground wire at amp.. u can leave the wire in car if u want just leave fise in arm reast or something if new owner wants amp they set.. if u wanta pull wires u can, if u have rcas at hu then u would have to leave those (if u not pulling hu out)..

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...

This tested well on youtube - not familiar with the brand but it is a pretty standard china build house amplifier...

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
