well i just got a nother car and it had a remote wire ground wire and rca wires all already installed so i ran my power wire and well i hooked my woofers up to my amp and for some reason in order for my amp to power on a wire from the remote wire has to touch the power wire and then when its touching my subs just go crazy and just play all bass (it does it when the car is off) i had called a local car audio place and they said that i had to wire my remote wire to another wire thats only on when the cars on....so if anyone could help with this or suggestions i would really apperciate it and i am working with it right now so if you suggest something i am going to try it...please someone help me

or PM me if you would be so kind as to walk me threw the steps i could give you my phone number

well i figured out that problem due to the dumbass that had the car before me ran the wire all messed up but i got that part fixed but now all my subs to is make a really loud bass noise even when my radios volume is on 0

but its a 99 jeep grand cherokee and yea i have a after market radio

This is usually a grounding issue or bad rcas. Check the amp and cd player ground, sometimes on the cd player, tappin the ground into the factory harness will cause this feedback or engine noise. Re-wire it to some good location under the dash. Also check for a good ground on amp. Look over the rcas, make sure they are not crossed up or dont appear to be stretched.

i have replaced the rcas..the last set i had seems to have a short in it when i would move one of them around the woofers would just start playin the bass really loud with the volume on 0 so i switched the rcas and i still have the same problem but only when i turn the level up or the bass boost up....i tryed grounding the wire else were still didnt work tryed to hook my other amp up to see if the amp i have in there now is no good and still did the same thing..
