remote turn on problem

no its not..it worked fine on my last amp. its still hooked up to the back of my deck like its been for a year..

check it with a dmm
what exactly am i checking? and what am i checking for?

and ive been thinking about wiring in a switch for the times when 5-0 rolls by quickly. could i use this to my advantage and just wire the switch in between the remote turn on?

Check to see if the remote out from your head unit is giving off power, even when the car is off.

If so, hook your romote wire in with the ignition wire, (the red one) that should do the trick

ok i called my friend who was tryin to see if his new amp worked yesterday. he was setting it up on my car and said that the speaker wire touched the remote turn on and it was sparking. he chose not to tell me about it......and since then the problems been happening. any ideas?
