remote transmitter programing

I have a viper 791xv remote start/alarm, my question is that I have to press the remote start button twice to start car and I have reset the remote to standard config and it still does not change the way you remote start car...any suggestions?

That is the standard configuration... so resetting it isn't going to do anything.

I have 2 of these remotes and on my car it works with just pressing the start button once not twice as with the transmitter to my wife`s car,just would like it to fuction as my does.

its a programming feature. whoever intalled it set it to be 1 press, because default is 2. You'd need to get into the programming menu to change it..
