Remote Start, with WAIT?

Im looking for a remote start with alram and all that. I dont wanna go over 200... DONT forget i have a diesel.so it has to have the WAIT TO START in it,

what do u reccomend?

Got it installed for $610 total. The shop ate the $100 cost of the chip to make it work because they originally told me I didn't need one. So I lucked out there and they also made the price really low because I had cash right then and said I was looking online.

It has everything but the kitchen sink.

i bought the clifford 50.5x (same as viper 5900) for around $200 on ebay and installed it myself.

my last remote was done for 200 installed.. it was a crimestopper..pretty good and sensitive alarm now i just gotta add on the remote start and alarm to this new truck

and i really like that new viper but way too much

big price difference in just remote start and remote start with keyless entry and alarm

Yeah he said he was looking for one with remote start, alarm and all that

i don't regret spending any penny of what I paid on it, remote start is amazing in the summer and in the winter and the alarm has been tripped by thief's 4 times already. Definitely worth the money IMO and installing it myself was not even an option. I can do a lot of car related stuff but I wont even touch an alarm/remote start system. Wayyyyy to much headache.

Viper is the way to go, I bought and installed a 5900 myself and love it. You are planning on installing yourself right? 200 installed would be nearly impossible

well i work with a shop down here and they might be able to do it.. i mean is an alarm that hard?

I think it took me the better part of 2 days to put my alarm/remote start in...

Yeah I bought mine like 2-3 years ago and it's been installed in 2 different cars. First car I used all features and it took me about 2 days...this included remote start, alarm w/ door pins, hood pin, and trunk pin. Second car is a manual so remote start wasn't installed and I was able to tap into a few wires to skip the door pins. This half-assed install took me probably the better part of one day.

Just make sure whatever you get is a 2-way system, meaning the remote tells you weather or not it armed. My mom has a remote start that's only a 1 way so unless your looking at the car you have no idea if it worked on not. With my viper it's great because I can be half way to my morning class and remember to arm it and it tells me that it's armed.
