Hey i have a cable going from one amp to another amp rem points? do i need this and what does it do?

Rem stands for Remote, it goes to the blue wire comeing off the aftermarket headunit. If you have 2 amps you can just run a wire from HU-REM-REM, but when you have more amps than that you probably should use a relay, and Since you dont understand what REM is, I suggest you take it to a shop and get one installed.
