Relay for 6-12V

It's not really car audio electrical but electrical nontheless:

Typical hid relay didn't work for my application and i assume it's because of voltage. This relay (just like many others) is made to work with 12V constant and 12V trigger.

Is there a relay that would basically be exact same one as what i have but would work with 6V trigger and 12V constant?

a relay will trip with just 2 millivolts. that will work fine for what you need.

That's not entirely true, a relay works off of magnetic fields produced by an internal inductor thats magnetic pull is decided by the amount of current flowing through it, low voltage means less current will be pulled, in theory...your going to have to check with a non automotive electronic store like Fries and you should be able to find one
