Are they damaged in shipping, customer returns, simply just don't work?

Sundown refurbs all go to db-R electronics and he repairs whatever is blown on the board - usually transistors.

Another thing to mention about dB-R is that he does a full board removal repair (the right way), replaces the entire bank of transistors even if only one is blown, and fully loads tests it before shipping.
