Hi, for my next project i was considering building a ported box and having the whole wall cover my trunk, so it's sealed off from the cabin of the car. This is in a regular car not a hatchback btw.

so right now when i fold my seats down i can noticebally hear them get louder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

but my question is, if i totally seal the trunk off from my cabin will i lose some "loudness" becuz it's not like the waves will be even touching my rear seats or anything, follow that poorly worded explanation?

So im tryna say, if i build a box that covers the whole sides of my trunk and seals it by itself, will my system still be as loud as opposed to if the waves could reach my cabin?

Those look like decent cheaper options for sure and probably fine for some systems, but I agree, Audiocontrol has been making high quality stuff...
