Red top vs Yellow top

Installing a 1500.1 Kicker zx. 1/0 ga wire, stock alt.

Wanting to replace my Stock battery up front with either a yellow or red top. Was going yellow but my friend said reds were better for up front and yellows for in back. Is he right?

ive used both for starters, noticed no difference...i would say get whatever is cheaper for the front, but definately get a yellow/blue for the secondary

jman start your car, then take the pos+ cable off your batt. it's the coolest.

yellow tops act more as a capacitor and recharge faster then the reds, but the reds do have more cca's

the yellowtop is also a starting battery FYI
