red light on amplifier

G'day guys, iv recently installed a lcd screen and dvd player and all working ok except that my sub amp keeps shutting off and shows red light (short or sumfin?). so i disconnected screen and dvd player so im back to square 1 and yet it still shutting off..wtf??? I was told lcd and dvd shouldnt effect amp wiring as amp is direct connected to battery is this true??..im so confused ;-(

Wot iv done:

replaced remote wire

replaced new rca

checked fuse

checked 95% of 4G wire

cleaned battery connections

unplugged subs and checked sub wiring >> all ok

installed my amp in another car >> all ok

would u happen to have the subs wired up into an ohm that the amp is not capable of?

no..its wired in 4 ohm
