Reconing question?****

i know this question is for the subwoofer section but more people are on here than any other.....when they recone a sub....do they replace the coils and all?....i only have a tear in the cone and rubber and i wanna keep the repair as cheap as possible.......if they do replace it...its cool...just wanted to know...thanks guys.

Yes, the replace it all, other than the basket and the motor, of course. That sub you should earlier is not going to be 'cheap' to repair, you can't just glue and duct tape it back together. To keep is cheap as possible, you could attempt the recone again, but then you would have the chance of ****in' it up, and having to either buy another recone kit for it, or send it in.
