When you recone a sub, What do you guys use for a shim when dropping in the recone? I've heard some people say a piece of manilla envelope But since there are different gap sizes does it depend on what sub you're reconing?

You'd need like 50... and you'd have to perfectly space them around the gap... and they'd be a lot harder to get out.

I still say my paper pwns... if you have the time... and wanna do it right.

I did it once, worked out ok with them

Quick ?, can I use crazy glue (since its CA glue correct?) to fix a small tear in the surround of a sub? No foam is missing or anything....

or, I also read clear nail polish would work.... any suggestions?

use something that is silica based so it will flex, the crazy glue will be too brittle, windshield replacement glue is what i have been recommended to use

The cheapest one...

Spread it on evenly, with your finger or something like a popsicle stick.

If it's a tear all the way through the surround I recommend it on the outside and inside...
