Recone?

What makes people recone? Is it a blown sub or just looking to do something different? Also, what does a normal recone cost for say a 12" sub? And when reconing, do you basically rebuild a woofer from scratch using the same motor? Or do you replace the motor and basically just start with the basket and end up with a new sub?

no, it'd be like replacing the soft parts and possibly the basket. what sub is it you want to recone? I might not even be worth it since most recones cost at least 100 and that's not including shipping to and from

yeah I had a version of that sub, def not worth the recone, but I have some motors worthy of a recone if ever you want something custom //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
