recone glue

I also use IC-2000. I get it at a local hobby store and it works just fine.

For shimming i would use thin sheets of paper so you make sure you get the coil centered properly. Using something thick like a manilla folder may not get the gap as tight as it needs to be.

we have been using the devcon 5min epoxy pt# 20445 from walmart ..homedepot..etc ..for ever..its the only devcon cleaer 5min with the twisty tips in the package ive ever seen..its 2.36 a pack from walmart...never had it fail yet...as with CA..thats a diff story...

I've used alot of 5-minute epoxy (DevCon) and it worked well on everything but a Shocker sig -- it blew the spider right off almost immediatly. I did XXXs, Mags, and several other misc subs with it no problem.

Even stronger is this stuff with "Fusion" written on it that I got at the craft store... one part and clear, strong as hell. It help the Sig spider on quite nicely. It does take 24 hours to dry, though.

I have some other stuff that I bought direct from a glue manufacturer that I'm using now... it's black and somewhat flexible, much like (or maybe the same as) what DD uses. It also takes quite a while to dry, but I like the results.
