Recommended Amp settings

What would you guys recommend for an alpine type-r 15" in a built to specs sealed enclosure being run off of an alpine mrd-1005 (1000w @ 2 ohm). I don't know much but if you could help me with the nominal settings that would be good. & I have the Eclipse 3000d HeadUnit 5v preout. I listen to alot of rap but my fair share of rock and other music. I know to hav SS off but duno what to set the others @.

LPF: 80hz

gain: Use the gain setting tutorial.

bass boost: 0db

SSF: Why not set it to 20hz.

SS Filter 1) Determine the tuning frequency of your enclosure (if using a sealed enclosure, turn SSF off or to minimum frequency) [its right there in the Amp setting tutorial.

bass boost for me is only helpful with songs without alot of bass i.e. rock, 80's music, it sounds good, i just don't max the boost the whole 12 or 18 decibals.
