Recommendations on substage?

Hi guys, I used to be a member here but lost my info.

Anyway- I had a system in my car a while back. I had two Sundowns the cheaper SAs on 1500 watts give or take.

I am looking to redo it again within the month and was going to gather some preinfo.

I intend to have someone here design a box.

Id like to have it sealed off firing into the cabin again, with that being said I can not go larger than 12". I can fit two.

My question is... When reaching out for spl- should I run one 12 on say a 3500 mono on 0.5? Like a saz or spmething;

Or would I obtain higher results pff my dual 12s on the same but only pulling 1k per woofer at 1?

Nothing has been bought short of my head unit.

I was thinking about getting a nightshade 12 from Sundown and ramping it to 3k or so.

So i guess , one power crazied.. Or two on less?

Cone area vs wattage I 'pose.

Reading back on it... cone area typically alwayswins eh?

Also id like some recommendations for cheaper woofers.

$500 or less on the woofers. Unless i get a fancy nightshade ;-)

Ill be looking at used too.

I'll throw in a vote for Fi's. I love mine! Although Soundqubed has been catching my eye lately...I'd love to hear their stuff.

I feel like you get more bang for your buck from two...imo
