Recommendations for a good 1ohm stable amp?

Well Honestly i haven't heard anything about the amps, But i did hear from a from a few people that the voicecoils they use really don't like to take any heat. And they use cheap foam for surround don't they? Correct me if i'm wrong because i really don't know for sure.

Twisted Sounds 1.8K is nice but wouldn't it be a bit under-powered for 2 1200w subs?

TS2.8 is so underrated, it got dyno'd doing dam close to 4k. Wouldn't surprise me if the 1.8 was in the same boat.

I haven't heard those things. It was the owner and his business practices that had people steer from his brand. But....his products are good, some are, not all.

It isnt a new design, none of these zenons or s&i's are. Identical pcb and identical amp are different things.

And then again, often times the same board with different components = the same thing.



He supposedly sold a few b-stock woofers as new like 7 years ago and still hasn't lived that down, meanwhile CT stiffed their Chinese buildhouse for 300,000$ sold a bunch of amps that literally caught fire and people still recommend them here.

The hifonics/sq comparison isnt a great one. Sq is korean, the hifonics is a chinese copy of that pcb. QC is almost certainly going to be inferior on the chinese.

I do not recomend CT. I do suggest skar from time to time. I was the person on Team Skar receiving bstock items as new. And I was the person Kevin tried to screw out of prize money for a contest. I think Kevin is at the very least, an unethical owner... but if someone wants cheap gear, they can certainly do worse.

And it should be noted, the race to zero is effectively over. Brutal Sounds got flagged for selling their 5k for 500. Another company using that board (4 use it) complained to zenon and threatened to stop using their buildhouse unless zenon enforced minimum promo pricing. Brutal Sounds had to increase the price of their amp as Zenon contacted them and stated that they would be enforcing minimums if Brutal wished to continue doing business.

Brutal posted the emails without the names on their Fb but never stated who had blown the whistle on them.

Dont go cheap. Id maxes are SQ subs.

Id look into the zapco budget amps.

Id rather run a larger korean with more flexibility for headroom than a smaller chinese amp

It was all over Facebook. The build house owner was trying to sell a bunch underhanded to make up his loses.
