I've been out of the game for a while and haven't stayed up-to-date with the car audio scene. I have an Alpine PDX V9 to power the sub, going into a ported enclosure that's around 1.25 cubic ft (replacing JL 10W6V2; box was created for it).

I have no interest in going back with JL, thoroughly enjoyed the sub, but customer support for repairs is abysmal. Appreciate the assistance in advance, thx.

Looks like a solid choice, reviews are stellar. I see it recommends a large box if ported for a 10" (1.5cuft). Kinda counterproductive for an SQ driver isn't it?

Only 0.25 larger than what you are searching for. I doubt you would hear much of a difference with that addition, and to say... its a recommendation as well. I dont know of any other that provides a 5 yr warranty on any other sub within the market. I still have a pair of these 10s that Ill throw in one my trucks when I change up systems from time to time. Very nice subs for the $

Not sure why this didnt paste properly? DC Level2 would be another Ideal sub for the power and enclosure you have

I would look for the DVC4 ohm of course for your final impedance of 2 ohm on the mono ch. of your amplifier

Thx @audiobaun , the Dayton RSS265HO seems to be the best bang for the buck of the ones you've suggested.
Sure. Its a dammned good sub for the money. There are quite a few SQ people I know still use them and enjoy them. I think with the power you have on your substage it will do very nice. Ill run mine on my PPI Phantom 1000.1d usually. You cant go wrong with it,and the warranty is unbeatable
