Recommend me some 10" Subs.

This will be doing into a thunderform under the back seat in my dakota, Im gonna ditch the 6000's it comes with, want something more powerful. Was thinking of putting a pair of 10" 8000's in there, but I dont know.

They will be powered by an MTX 2300x amp, (693 watts RMSx1 at 4 ohms at 12.5 volts, 113db signal to noise)

So I would prefer a pair of 8 ohm subs, and the thunderform is 1.8 cubic feet SEALED. All one common chamber. So I would wants subs that will perform well on about .9 cu ft each sealed.

the 8000 will not fit cus of the maganets, and also if u could supply uswith the depth it would be a big help.

oops, forgot that part.

The 6000's that come in it are 5 1/8" top mount depth, so anything that depth should fit.

But is the box made to go around the magnet inside or soemthing?

A 10" 6000 is 5 1/8" top mount depth, a 10" 8000 is 5" top moutn depth.

Look at Incriminator Audio Lethal Injection series subwoofers. They have a 5 1/8 mounting depth as well and come in dual 4 ohm voice coil so you can get a total 4 ohm load with two of them. Yup as it says thats MSRP....He does not charge msrp. Look at the MSRP on the 12" Death Penalty its over 500 bux. But he only charges 325 for the 12 and 350 for the 15".

Where are you getting these numbers? I got mine right off the http://www.mtx.com archive, looking at the PDF files for the 6000 at 8000's.

see i was lookin at the new line of woofers, my bad. but yeah the 8000 have an mounting depth of 5 inches. But is that box a big enough space for them to work in. Cus the 8000 will bound if given the right enclosure and enough power. I mean the 8000 love to be ported.

The 10" 6000 has a recommened box of .75 cu ft sealed, 8000 is .63 cu ft sealed recommended.

The thunderform is 1.8 cu ft, so .9 per sub Way to big imo for eitehr one.

Now the problem i I have read that it comes down to magnet diameter not allowing better subs to fit?

Well the 8000 like to be ported and given serious power. But that extra space will help more than hurt.
