Recommend me a single 12" sub

I have had 2 kicker 10l7s and 2 alpine type-r 12s before. Now I'm looking to downgrade to just one sub.

My amp is an Orion 1200d.

What's the best single 12inch sub for me? I was looking at Jl Audio W7 woofers, but I can't decide. I already have a single 12inch kicker box square that I have lying around, but don't know if the L7 is what I want for a single 12inch.

Recommendations please.

Ok, just need one single 12" sub, SPL type that can handle my Orion 1200D daily.

Both get loud and sound alright, but i like the sound of the ID WAY better than the Fi.

If i put them in order... I have owned a 12w6, 12L7, 12IDmax and friends owned 15 type r, and 10" fi Q (in no order.)

In terms of SQ:

Idmax, w6, fi q, type R, and then L7.... of course it all depends on the install

In terms of SPL:

L7, Type R, Fi Q and IDmax are very close, and then w6.

try a DD 2512 dual 4 ...it is nothing short of impressive

treo te, or treo ssi both sound good and will take almost twice there power rating.

we are putting 3 10in TE's in with one 2000.1=about 3000 watts.....
