I tore the surrounds on my current subs...

Can I get recommendations for new subs, please...

$120 or less each... no more please

10" SVC 4 ohm

250-300W RMS

Twin sub sealed enclosure in trunk (no separation)

Mostly rock, some techno-ish, occasional rap

Prefer solid clean bass vs trunk shakers

Will be running off Alpine MRP-M500 amp (500W RMS @ 2ohm)

well for 75 bucks there is nothing to recommend ur best bet is to save up more and get one of these

Yeah, your best bet is a DCON. If you spend any less, you'll be getting new garbage, or used garbage; either way, it'll be garbage.

Infinity ref1060w or Boston G1 10-4

very good budget sq subs, dont worry about the 200rms handling on the G1, it will handle 500rms with ease, I have owned a few in the past, same with the Infinitys.

With a budget like that, not a lot of decent options. The Infinity's are decent, and another option would be thier sister company JBL.

OK DCons are in... Are they SQ or SPL?... also if I go with them, I will have to wait to have the budget for them, and I will have to wait on a new shotgun barrel too.
