i want to do a pair of 8" subs under the back seat of my 94 full size Blazer.

i have not been up on the new technology subwoofers and what are good ones anymore.

so can some of you guys give me some good recomendations on a pair of subs to use for mostly SQ purposes.i would of course like them to get low and loud on occasion but mostly complement my mb quart qsc 216 components.

i would rather do a ported box and will be using the m100 side of my phoenix gold Outlaw amp.

specs on the amp are 250 wts rms 2ohm stereo @14.4v or 500wts rms 4ohm mono @14.4v.

thanks for your help

If you're going to install them under the seat you might want to give us a mounting depth and roughly how much space you have to work with. I'm guessing you don't want to put them in the cargo area so you can save space?

correct on the space saving and keep them outta sight:D

i have space of 9"deep 9.5"tall and 10.5" wide on each side and in the center between the braces i have 29.75" and my outlaw slated to sit there.

If I'm reading this correctly you want two boxes, one on each side of the braces, and the space for those is 9x9.5x10.5. That leaves you with about .4 cubes per side. Your best bet will probably to stick with a pair of 8's. Do you have a budget in mind?

I hear great things about the RL-i, but am not sure if .4 ft^3 before displacement is enough for them. The AA Assasin 8" would probably be a good candidate. There are a lot of 8's out there and I have no experience with any of them, so I don't really want to make suggestions.
