Im going to need a new reciever pretty soon and i really dont want to spend over 50 bucks im thinkin something used off ebay possibly old school.

But i need to know what brands to look for, what features,etc...

Let me know what you think.

Right now im usin a mini aiwa shelf system reciever with two 15" woofers and two 6.5s and it runs and sounds pretty good cause i have a big room. So ill need something with similar power. Couldnt find the power ratings for this reciever but heres the model number if you want to help nsx-v50.

you want to put good money into the receiver, well..not good money, but make sure it is ok for your application. reason i say that is i had a hitachi receicer running my computer setup upstairs (in my room), and it was just a joke. down here, however, the 2.1 setup is run by my grandfather's old dimensia IA.

old RCA amps are good (the dimensia is a RCA from like '85)
