Reccomend planet audio?

so, im looking into planet audio amplifiers, they seem good for the price,

however are they reliable? strong? and worth the cash.

but i was looking at these and i want to know, where can i get one?????

a friend of mine has one similar. it sounds good but not as good as my polk mono. IMHO i wouldnt buy a 4000 watt mb amp for $160 cause i know it wont do 4000 watts even if the conditions permitted. usually amps that really are 4000 watt rated are worth alot more

I wouldn't buy their newer stuff. There are some select lines from the 2000's that were good, but other than that I wouldn't spend my money on it.

stay away from the anarchy series(AC...model number), they are junk, might as well hold them up there with boss and quantum. The older planet audio amps are decent, and never shop for an amp by "max wattage". If your afraid of buying a crappy amp that's way overrated, just try and buy something cea-2006 compliant, look @ some hifonics amps, db platinum, Big bang series Planet audio, kicker all, Rockford Fosgate all(especially old school punch).

If your sketchy about an amp, just find the amperage of all fuses on the amp combined, and multiply times 14 volts and you'll get a rough estimate, that will usually eliminate the weeds like the boss audio junk that boasts a 4000 watt MAX, and has 2 20 amp fuses on it.
